A range of papers have been produced that either reflect thoughts generated during the meeting or have been drafted by individuals and discussed and approved by the group. The papers are relatively straightforward and pragmatic, so they are easily understood and address new, manageable and acceptable ways of establishing a WTO agreement. These papers have stood the test of time and have been progressively refined. They are a practical demonstration of the strength of the Boksburg Group approach and are used as reference documents by group participants and together with the meeting reports have been circulated to developing country capitals and their negotiators. There is evidence that the papers are well respected, are seen to address the key issues for developing countries in a practical way and have been used to develop negotiating positions for individual countries
